Where our school’s history lives
Whether you’re a local, a former student, a family, or a researcher, there’s something here for you.

Ten minutes from the Perth CBD, on Whadjuk Noongar Country, the Kentian Society Museum keeps the story of Kent Street Senior High School—the first secondary school built south of the Swan River independent of a primary school—alive and in the hands of the community that made it.
The Museum, owned and managed by the Kentian Society (Inc), operates without any recurrent government funding. Our work is never ending and our aspirations are high.
Becoming a member and/or donating to our organisation will help to ensure the history of Kent Street SHS is protected and accessible for current and future generations.
Most donations are tax deductible and go towards the conservation and preservation of the Museum Collections.
