Since 1994, we’ve been preserving the history of Western Australian childhood—and we’re just getting started. At its core is a database of student records for Kent Street SHS dating back to 1940, documenting parental occupations, home addresses, sibling connections, and school pathways—an invaluable tool for academic researchers.

Our research library holds several hundred books, journals, yearbooks, student diaries, exam materials, newsletters, teachers’ programs, and hundreds of news clippings, nearly half of them featuring photographs.
