Building Bridges Not Walls is a major Kentian Society Museum project — generously funded by the Department of Veterans’ Affairs through its Saluting Their Service grants program — to create a living digital record of Kent Street SHS alumni, and their families, who served in Australia’s defence forces.

We’ll honour everyone who served: those who died, those who were wounded, those who came home, and the families who held things together while they were gone.

And we’ll also honour what came next. The skills carried home. The resilience. The lives rebuilt and the contributions made. Because “Lest we forget” means remembering the whole story.
